How it works — 5 steps

Start with Kiddo, a saved character, or your own mouth artwork.

Choose or add mouth shapes

  • Upload transparent PNG or WebP mouth files
  • Choose the language and check or adjust the sound mapping
  • Using a saved character? Its mapping is already set up.
Universal (IPA) works with any language, gibberish, or singing.

Add audio and choose FPS

  • Upload the speech track
  • Choose the FPS that matches your animation

Analyze

  • Builds the initial editable mouth timeline
  • Uses the current audio, FPS, language, and mapping

Refine the result in the timeline

Analyze creates the first pass. The editor is where you make the exact mouth and timing decisions.

A. Select frames / ranges

Select one frame, or Shift-select a range.

B. Replace the mouth

Apply the right mouth shape to the selected frame or range.

C. Adjust timing

Drag segment edges to adjust when a mouth starts and ends.

D. Navigate the edit

Use the playhead, zoom, pan, and audio scrubbing to move through the edit.

Mapping and timeline editing do different jobs

Mapping

Changes what the next Analyze will generate.

  • Includes language, mouth files, and sound assignments
  • Affects future Analyze results

Timeline editing

Changes this project’s result immediately.

  • Includes mouth choices and timing adjustments
  • Only affects this project
Common questions

Quick answers while you work

The wrong mouth appears

Check the language and mapping, or replace the mouth directly on the affected frames.

Timing is early or late

Drag the segment edge to adjust the timing directly in the timeline.

Analyze is disabled

No relevant input changed since the last successful Analyze.

Re-analyze after manual edits

You can keep your manual edits or reset them when a new Analyze is created.
